April 11th, 2023

Secretary's Report MSC
Treasurer's Report: Highlights presented by Lynne, numbers comparable to 2022. MSC
Pastor's Report: Visits went well. Baccalaureate will be at St. John's Lutheran Church in Sherburn on 5/31/23 at 6:30pm.
Worship Committee: Need a list of organists. The Website Calendar will have a list of the birthdays and anniversaries.
Education Committee: Last regular class for FROG this spring will be 4/12/23. Confirmation classes will continue through 5/3/23. All interested in helping plan VBS please come to a meeting on 4/12/23 at 7pm. ILC will need to provide adult help everyday, kitchen help to make and serve light supper and a snack daily, and junior volunteers which includes anyone who has finished 6th grade and older. We need to purchase a list of supplies. The theme is investigative: Uncovering the Truth of who God is and who we are. Sheryl will contact Thrivent to start a Thrivent Action Team. We have sponsors who are financially purchasing the t-shirts offered by Okoboji/Ingham Lake Bible Camp.
Stewardship Committee: Website. Anyone can bring up suggestions on what should be added to the website. A Prayer list, Prayer requests, Praise reports are suggestions given at this time.
Benevolences: April: Dunnell Food Shelf by purchasing 2 shares per month from Ruby's Pantry. May: Relay for Life $500 MSC. June: Cherish House. July: Vacation Bible School.
Evangelism Committee: Charity Baby Bottles to be turned in during the month of April. Dunnell Food Shelf. Stickered VBS boxes to be filled by the students for Charity House.
Maintenance Committee: Sound system estimate not yet received. Basement window repair bill received for $350. Pews repair needed as some have legs not touching the floor and loose screws. Trim needs paint touch ups. Sanctuary needs to be painted. Balcony has chairs where the cast iron is broken. The outside north wall needs brick work, Leann will contact Larry Johnson.
Old Business: None.
New Business: Heather Doyle has requested to do a weekly Narcotics Anonymous meeting here at ILC. (Evangelism outreach) They will provide their own beverages, treats, a smoking bucket for outside with sand and will maintain this. MSC
